Element is a US skate brand. It’s pretty famous in skateboarding circles, been around since the early 1990s. Check out their story. I know it seems like a disparity that a 40-something woman would be into a skate brand. But it is what it is. I love a bit of boho and these guys do it well. Not so long ago, I bought myself the items below from Surf, Dive and Ski, which is a national chain of surf shops. The pattern in these gorgeous shorts was irresistible to me and on top of that the cuff of the shorts is a sort of oversized frill, allowing plenty of breathing space in the thigh area. The t-shirt is a flattering but roomy cut, in a beautiful soft cotton, and the hat fits really well and provides good shade. Win, win, win!
